Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Fludyers Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: chop then rollers Air Temperature: 13 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Went to Dip 8:45 but despite HHA saying 210 degrees it was well off shore
drove to Fludyers and dropped trailer. Wanted to check Dip again to drove
back and found Ian and we both decided on Fludyers as wind still off.
Rigged 76l/4.7m which was about right. Had played with sail at home and
watched rigging video and felt better tuned today. After 45 mins tide
started to turn so rigged 96l/5.3m and wind dropped some too. Before tide
turned was quite choppy and after had nice rollers but could not ride too
much unless well powered to make it back up wind.
Wind a bit up and down but always planing and keeping well up wind until
mid-day when lost a couple of groynes so packed up. Al, Paul and Strawb
also out. Roger rigged late and did not make it out. Ian had a day when
everything went wrong. Been a good May
